It's Labour Day today. The irony of Labour Day is that it's a holiday...hence, there is very little 'labouring' going around. That is...except for students la. We have exams. So, we labour over our notes and books.
:'(
Only consolation I have is that the weather is so crap today. *shrugs*
Anyhow, keep me in prayer through this time please? :) Exam dates as below:
Monday, 29 October - Whole Organ Modelling
Monday, 5 November - Computational Techniques II
Plus, I have an ongoing assessment at the moment till er...not sure when:
Ongoing - Consultant (Lead and Associate) for two University of Illinois management teams

So...it's the first Saturday in months that I do not have some sort of Lifegroup related stuff on, which means that this is the first Saturday in months that I have the whole day to do what I want to do. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Lifegroup and all the other God stuff that relates to it, but sometimes, a break is good.
However, I've been up for two hours plus now and the plan for the day is to stay home. Why? Exams and assignments. Bah~ So much for a break aye. Sigh...Nevermind, work hard now then go for good holiday in Ozzieland for 13 days! MUAHAHAHAHHA~ God's awesome :)
Anyhow, better get back to the assignments. Hope life is treating all you peeps well. :) Keep close to your Saviour King aye...:)

Joel Holm at church this morning. I am a fan of Joel Holm. *smile* He's going to be visiting CLCA much in the coming year. :D :D :D Man of God bringing the word of God. Awesome. :)
First time in church that my 'services' as a leader was called upon. Ps Paul opened the altar for people needing prayer and called leaders to come pray. Wah! Reminds me of OCF camp...you go out, not knowing these peeps, and you just pray for them, trusting that God will speak to them through you. People were touched, no doubt. God's good. :)
I like the phrase Joel said today:
"the beginning of wholeness is weakness"
Reminds me that in surrender we freedom and liberty, in weakness we find strength, in nothingness we find all we will ever need in Jesus.
Lifegroup is growing. We had 14 yesterday. And 3 regulars weren't there. When we multiplied, we had er...10. But Hannah's headed back to Singapore. So, with a full house, we would have close to doubled O_o. God does indeed honour multiplication. :D Woot! Now, all we need are 2ICs to take it over so we can multiply again! :D
Am thinking of changing my screenprotector for my Lifedrive. It's not responding as well as it used to (or rather as well as brand new PDAs). :P Not impressed. But ar...have to buy a pack of 12 wor. Siao. I change like once every 1.5 years. Which means 12 would last me 18 years O_o Many changes of PDAs by then huh? Or I could just share with peeps, but then that stops me from having an excuse to have a PDA for the next 20 years of my life right? *grin* hee hee
Study till eyes want to pop dee. Tempted to go sit in the sun...it's Sunday!

Fresh. That word seems to be popping up in so many conversations these days. I love it.
God's doing something fresh. Or maybe, God is being God...the same yesterday, today and forever and we, instead, are beginning to catch a glimpse of what He's been trying to get across for a very long time.
There is a joy in giving...there is an art in receiving.
It says in Ps 34:8 - "taste and see that the Lord is good". Indeed, I have tasted and I bear witness at the sweetness of His presence, the warmth of His love and embrace, and the gentleness of Him as Teacher and Lord. He is Healer, He is King.
Past couple of days have been mind boggling. Yesterday more so than any in a long while.
"Pick up the baton and run"
Grace. Sense, it makes not. Grace. It shocks, it angers, it quietens, it humbles....it is given. It needs to be received.
Jesus. The sweetest name. Jesus
When God gives you dreams (sleep dreams) every part of the dream is important. The colours, the little intricate detail of pattern on the edge of the table, the funny door, the jello, the bugs....even the adverts. He works the same in life. Every detail planned. Every rendezvous with the Prince of Peace detailed out to woo, to pursue, to lavish us with His love.

My my, what has caused min to start blogging all over again? Well, I'm at uni now, with laptop and all. Man, praise God for laptops that don't weigh a ton, and for V. I have been sick for the past 4 days or so. Had the whole fever issue, plus this weird bug that caused me to burp for bouts of 1.5 hours which went on for 1.5 days or more? Been taking a whole cocktail of pills. This is the upside (downside?) of having extremely close mates who are all doctors. Sum was particularly excited that she could take out a prescription for me. Poor thing la her, everyone around her (including herself) all getting tummy issues.
BUT! as I said before, at least I was burping for all that time instead of farting :P Hee hee :)
Anyhow, after all that downtime, I had to come to uni to do work. Home is horrible. Home = bed. Home = 'free' internet. Now, at uni when they charge you a whole heap of dosh for surfing, you do none. Plus, internet today has been buggy. I am not impressed. My gmail is not responding as quick as it should cause of the stupid internet connection at uni that keeps on dropping.
And so, I may start blogging a whole heap starting now...cause as we all know, min blogs most when she is stressed at uni. :) But yay! been productive since I got in an hour ago (you all must be wondering how possible it is with me blogging ONE hour into work time :P).
Ok la...better run. Smile plenty dears. God looks over us :)
